THE WAY TO OVERCOME TRUST ISSUES DURING RELATIONSHIP

 

Building trust in a relationship is like building a house on a rigid foundation. Trust is the first building block in every relationship. Lots of relationships are suffering because of lack of trust, but they find it is hard to rebuild. Most partners are either suffering from trust insecurities from past traumatic experiences or past relationships.

 

Before building trust again in your relationship or in your life, have it in mind that building trust needs lots of commitment, patience, tolerance and communication to rebuild it.

       Increase your communication

Clearly have a good and deep discussion with your partner, this will help you handle trust issues. Talk to your partner about how you feel about a certain situation or person. Let them feel connected when having a discussion with you. Let the communication flow between you and your partner. This will enhance your level of clarity and trust.

 

       Share secret

There's no secret in a relationship. To overcome the trust issues in your relationship, take the bold step out by sharing your secret with your partner. This will increase the level of trust, commitment and communication in your relationship. Tell your partner everything and anything needed to talk about. Especially your inner circle, your close friends_let your partner know about them all.

 

       See a therapist

Most times, having trust issues is from past traumatic experiences. If you find it hard to maintain the level of trust in your relationship or you find it hard to let go of your past. It's better to see a therapist, talk about it and move on.
